Apple releases iPhone Software 2.2

Apple - iPhone - Software Update.

I’ve updated my iPhone to the new software update. Safari seems much snappier and the new interface is easier to use.

Although Google Street View is available, currently there aren’t any Street Views in my location, but it seems to work when i search for Cupertino.

The Podcast downloader is also reasonably good, and allows you to delete podcasts using a swipe. This means that if you were going away for a weekend, you could get your podcasts without running out of space.

This is another welcomed update to the iPhone OS.

I discovered today through experimentation that it is possible to share applications you have purchased on different accounts, onto one or many iPhones, using the iTunes ‘Authorize Computer’ feature, even if applications are no longer available for purchase.
