The New MacBook Pro: Usability

The first thing i noticed with my new notebook, was that i had lost a port. Previously where i had 2 FireWire ports, i was now only given one. Luckily, due to the ability to daisy-chain FireWire devices, this was an easy solution.

Another thing i noticed, is that the USB ports are quite close together. Since i have a second monitor plugged in and my FireWire devices, access to the USB ports isn’t quite as easy as i would like. This was remedied by using an old iPod Shuffle USB dock.
