I found the POWER7 series of processors. All my macs are PowerPC chips. I like them, they’re more quirky and are ‘technically’ more efficient as processors.
IBM won a $244 million DARPA contract in November 2006 to develop a multi-petaFLOPS supercomputerarchitecture before the end of 2010. The contract also states that the architecture shall be available commercially.

MSN has decided to stop using a certain version of DRM. This means that anyone with their music can no longer “authorize” other machines, nor upgrade their OS on that machine.
The EFF says that these customers are deserving of an apology as well as monetary compensation.

I recently played GTA4 on a friends Xbox 360. It wasn’t bad. It played like previous GTAs with slightly improved graphics and gameplay.
On another note, i noticed that there was a lot of motion blurring and also some stuttering in game. I’m assuming that this is due to the power of the 360 and have yet to play the PS3 version of the game.
However, on the whole, it’s a good game.
I’ve just started this, currently at chapter 4. It’s very good. It’s written by the same guy who does The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs.
It’s very humorous, using the stereotypical image of SJ as well as its own personality. Probably well worth a read by anyone who enjoys The Secret Diary.
